These terms govern your use of houndandbone.ca and any order you place with Hound & Bone Inc. By ordering, you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy and Delivery Policy.
Hound & Bone sells raw dog food. Our food is made fresh to order in small batches. It is food for dogs, not medical treatment — every dog is different, so consult your veterinarian about your dog's diet. Product descriptions, weights, and images are provided in good faith; minor variation is normal for a fresh, hand-packed product.
Prices are shown in Canadian dollars and are exclusive of GST, which is added at checkout (5%). Hound & Bone Inc.'s GST/HST registration number is 76241 0967 RT 0001. We may update prices and product availability at any time, but the price you pay is the price shown when you place your order. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item is unavailable or a pricing error occurred — and will refund any amount already charged.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By paying, you authorize us to charge the total shown at checkout. We do not store your full card number.
If you choose Subscribe & Save, you receive 15% off and your order recurs automatically on the schedule you select (for example every few weeks). Each renewal is charged to your saved payment method before that delivery, at the subscription price then in effect plus applicable delivery fees and GST. You may pause, reschedule, or cancel your subscription at any time from your account — changes apply to the next un-billed order, so make them before a renewal is charged. We will notify you of upcoming renewals and of any change to subscription pricing in advance.
Delivery availability, fees, and timing are described in our Delivery Policy. You are responsible for providing an accurate address and for receiving your order promptly, as it ships frozen.
We want your dog to love their food. If you're not satisfied with a product, contact us at info@houndandbone.ca within 30 days of delivery and we'll make it right with a replacement or store credit. Because this is a fresh, perishable food product, we generally cannot accept physical returns for food-safety reasons. Store credit and replacements are provided at our reasonable discretion.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. Let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized use.
Our food is sold for use as directed. To the extent permitted by law, Hound & Bone Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
We may update these terms; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Questions? Email info@houndandbone.ca.
